Instructional Designer & eLearning Developer — Rossland, BC
I’m an instructional designer and eLearning developer with a background in high-stakes teaching, performance coaching, and adult education. I design interactive, behaviour-focused learning — story-based scenarios, gamified simulations, and AI-powered role-play — that gives people a safe space to practice difficult real-world skills before they face them for real.
My path into learning design runs through more than two decades in the mountains, where I trained and certified instructors and coached technical performance, communication, and decision-making under pressure. That experience — teaching complex skills in unforgiving environments — shapes how I think about feedback, psychological safety, and what actually helps people learn.
I hold a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design (Athabasca University) and a BA in Psychology (University of Alberta), and I build with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), modern multimedia, and AI-augmented workflows. My approach is grounded in adult learning theory, backed by research, and refined through multiple rounds of iteration.
The projects on this site are selected work samples and prototypes — each built to solve a specific performance problem in a high-stakes, people-facing environment.
